I watched the trailer and was worried since it showed the MC holding a mic/stick in her transformation, but it seems they actually fight hands-free, a great start.
I hope this season tackled its theme quite seriously like SmilePC, a cheery start but then Joker appeared and things got kinda dark (by kids' standard ofc). After all it's about heroism, a common double-edged sword topic.

Okay 5 things

1. I feel the opening was honestly the most energetic/original one yet
2. The first minute and some fatty pig babynaps a baby princess, kinda unoriginal but a classic
3. The idea of the transformation item transforms from a pen kinda reminds me of Star Twinkle Precure! And the transformation itself was felt like watching an idol perform I loved it
4. The animation of Cure sky’s Ponytails was a little off, that aside great debut battle
5. An entire kingdom in the sky and not a single Pegasus I hope one comes later in the series

Orignal series (Futari Wa) had a pretty energetic opening. Pretty sure Smile PreCure was highly energetic as well.

How "different" explain in detail

“Heroically” energetic. Think about it this way, imagine if all the music you’ve ever heard gave off some kind of energy and depending how the music is played the energy would be different. In this case We Are Pretty Cure would give off a “Newly” energy considering the time when the first season was made. And Smile Pretty Cure gave off “Charming” energy considering the series is made for little girls and was specifically targeting them and magical girl loving weirdo’s (No offense) to be drawn into it. Was that enough information?

Seems like they have a bird thing going on. Soldier mounts are birds, transportation are birds, some of the citizens are birds. I guess they are a bird-centric land.

Yay! Happy to start yet another season of PreCure~! I'm liking a lot of the designs this season already!

Also seems like the animators are having some fun with the fluid stretchiness of some of the action scenes... especially in the fight at the end of the episode... which is a welcome change since some of the more current PreCure could feel sorta' stiff in the movements sometimes. Here's hoping it only gets better from here~! ^_^

Loving Sora so far. Even before transforming she was showing off her par-Cure skills while running along those rooftops. :P

Strong start for a precure series.
- OP slaps! You know Imma listen to it a couple of times on YT.
- A bit light on the story behind the kingdom being in the middle of the sky and a magical princess but its a great setting nonetheless.
-Sora/Sky already shows her spunkiness even before becoming a cure and her transformation sequence is very good. the part where they show different angles of her Cure form makes me think of Go Princess. The henshin song is great too. Her design is so good! from the cape to the hair to the dress.
- Fighting sequence was light on action but its looking promising. No need for a special power sequence to make the monster of the day disappear either. Just a special punch.
- ED is pretty banger too.

I sure can't wait to see the other episodes of Hirogaru Sky! Precure and I sure hope for both Cure Wing and Cure Butterfly (Whoever they are) to join the Team during the first half of the new series, but before the second half of the new series takes place.

Wow, I must be really bored to have ended up here. But what is this? A main Cure that ISN'T pink? Is the sun going up in the west? I am glad the producers finally found some colour variation in themselves but they couldn't leave without giving her at least pink highlights. And in return for her being blue we get TWO other mainly pink ones. ...I am so pink-tired. The colour is not even beautiful. They really could change their designs at least a little bit between the seasons. Series is as stagnant as pokemon.

Well, but why should I care? I do not watch these shows anyway. Have fun with it whoever can. I am out.

It's a cool transformation but I don't get how the blue hair girl whose from the middle ages is able to make a pop/ cd appear in her transformation. It seems inconsistant to her origins. I get if the pink hair girl can do it though

BEFORE WATCHING the episode: I failed to get into Delicious Party last time (mostly because the hiatus kinda made me lose track of it and GO RUSH). So let's see if this pre cure i can kinda get into without getting interrupted

AFTER watching the episode:
Okay I think i liked this one more than Delicious Party'sfirst episode.
The monster designs are still simle, but are more like Kiramager simple of "creative and simple", which I liked. Unlike Delicious "Just put eyes and legs and arms into an Cooking Utensil"
FOR SOME ODD REASON, I like that they actually fight in the city, instead of the convenient "let's transport the battle to another dimension".

And oddly enough the more "grounded" premise of just "a random girl from another dimension who got stuck on Earth while saving a baby" makes it easier to get into. Ironic given the "sky" theme

NICE VERY NICE. I thought that we would only get hero themed Precure when Sora got a scene in Delicious Party but it looks like we would get two-in-one flavors this season. Idol and hero in one! what else to look for? everyone loves them separately but Toei decided to fuse them.
I'm gonna be honest. Delicious Party is something I actually watched up to the end but it's a disappointment. The worst Precure for me 3.5/10 - bad villain, bad backstory, uncute costumes, dry songs and KOME. Let's not talk about how sad it is that the blue haired girl which is the trademark princess type of the group looks ugly. I'm glad that they are getting back on track especially for the songs and costumes.

There's some pretty nice animation in this series so far, even the ending and opening are very nicely animated. And decent quality throughout the episode as well, hope they can keep it up for the rest of the series.

I get what they were trying to go for but that shoulder cape really does seem like a poor design choice, it's so long, surely it'd get in the way of all the fighting.

Quite the spunky leader this time round though and a blue as well.

It's kind of the same case as giving a cure long hair or a large ribbon. In a real fight, that will definitely get in the way, but somehow precure's have a special magic that long hairs and clothes dont get in the way. XD

Good start but still I think I still like old traditional that I want pink hair/yellow hair is a leader, and blue hair usually a secondary. Still for fighting animation kind of weird compare to previous Precure

I like this so far. I grew up with Pretty Cure the most. so the concept that there's only 1 girl going through so much pressure without relying on someone else doesn't sit with me right. nearly any magical girl anime which starts as a group or as a duo is an instant like!

Excellent characterization of MC Sora. More than the MC of Delicious Party's whole series. Love the heroism that shines through even with trembling fear. Good plot development too. Well animated fight. Hope it's consistent.
